Bear's sire is not only a MCH but also the 1997 and 2000 AGS National Champion Buck. Bear is a very stylish buck that has unfortunately gone oversized. He is a quadruplet. He is long bodied with a very nice topline. He has tremendous height to the withers and very good shoulder blending. He is also very tight at the point of elbow. He has strong feet and legs but does toe out a bit in the front.  

 

Update:  We unfortunately lost Bear late last fall.  We treated him for several weeks for what the vet thought was Listeriosis but autopsy tested negative and gave no known cause of death.  He will be sorely missed.

 

Bear unfortunately only settled one doe before his departure.  Since no one else settled but Katie, her doe kid’s name was set……. Katie “Did”.  We are very pleased with Katie Did and she just finished in ADGA on her second freshening udder.
