Terms of Sale

Animals available for purchase will be listed here and/or on our Facebook page, "Atwood Acres- Nigerian Dwarf goats".   Also refer to the Kidding Schedule page for upcoming kids along with pedigrees and prices. 

 

Wethers are priced at $125 and breeding stock start at $600 and is based on the quality, resume of the goat, and pedigree.

 

Whether you are interested in an adult or placing a reservation on a kid from a planned breeding, we only maintain a waiting list.  A deposit is not required to be placed on this list and placing your name on the waiting list is not a commitment from you to purchase. 

 

If on a wait list, you will be contacted and a non-refundable deposit of $100 will be arranged if still interested in purchasing.  Animals will not be considered “held” until your deposit is received.  All payments are preferred via cash, Venmo, or PayPal.  

 

The balance of the purchase price must be paid in full at time of pick-up or transport. Final payment must be in the form of cash, money order, Venmo, or PayPal.  

 

We prefer in-person pick up or transfer of animals purchased.  We are also happy to deliver purchased animals to the variety of shows we attend each year.  All shipping costs associated with goat purchases (transportation, heath certificates, veterinary fees, testing, etc.) are the buyers responsibility.

 

All adults will be advertised with either an official or unofficial height.  We will NOT guarantee height at maturity on any kid sold. We guarantee that our goats are healthy and free from disqualifying faults when we sell them and at time of transfer to their new owner. Since we cannot control the goat's environment once they leave our farm, or control the environment which they grow in after leaving our farm, we cannot offer further guarantees.

 

Stress is common when animals move to a new home and in rare cases, death may result if not promptly treated. Atwood Acres will not be responsible for death, stress or illness of any kind after the animal leaves our farm.

 

By purchasing any animals from us, you are agreeing to all statements above.
